Cyprus Wedding Photos
Steve and Danielle got married at the Villa Dimitra in the Aphrodite Hills Resort near Paphos. Everything was all a bit hectic when I got there with all the guests arriving and everyone getting ready as well. After some photos with all of the lovely sisters, Danielle and her Dad made their entrance to the ceremony watched by an emotional Steve. We took some group photos on the lawn with the sea in the background and then I took Dan and Steve off arounf the resort for some more pics. Elena catered a gorgeous barbecue and after dinner we went to the beach for sunset. It was a gorgeous wedding and congratulations to Mr and Mrs Croudson. Jason and Louise held their Cyprus wedding at the Aphrodite Hills Hotel. Louise's room was very busy when I got there whereas Jason seemed calm. Louise looked stunning in her dress and after a slight delay we had an emotional ceremony at St. Catherines chapel, which included some lovely readings. After lots of group photos the kids were entertained and then they had a picnic whilst the adults had a cocktail reception. I managed to squeeze in some time with Louise and Jason before dinner (and what I believe will be the longest groom's speech this year!!!). Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Keeley.
Jon and Jemma held their Paphos wedding at the Amathus Hotel. It was a lovely intimate family wedding with lots of emotions and love. Jemma was in her room with her bridesmaids Megan and Nichola and Rachel and Karen were just finishing her hair and makeup. Mum and Dad were there too looking very proud and trying to hold their emotions in check. When we were all ready and after some photos we made our way to the gazebo for a very blustery ceremony. We had cocktails on the lawn and then took some group photos. Jon is the first groom to ask me to try a actually photograph some "budgies" just for a laugh, but wouldn't you just know it, when you want them they aren't there. After dinner we took some sunset photos and then they all chilled out in the bar. It was a lovely private family day, congratulations Mr and Mrs Bond.
Daniel and Shona got married at Geroskipou town hall and this was just the start of a fabulous fun filled day. I met Shona at her hotel before going to the town hall. She was just having her makeup done by Daniela and when that was finished we took some gorgeous photos. At the town hall, Daniel was pretty nervous and a bit emotional and when he saw Shona walking down the steps he looked so proud. After some group photos we went to Mare Mare in the harbour for speeches and then dinner. Daniel and Shona then surprised all of their guests by taking them on board the Sea Star Yacht and we went sailing. It was a fab day, congratulations Mr and Mrs Norman.
Melissa and Richard held the Cyprus wedding at the Columbia Beach resort in Pissouri Paphos. Now, normally I talk about the day and tell you everything we did, however this time I want to tell you their story. Rich and Mel were first boyfriend and girlfriend when they were eight (can you just imagine how cute they were). Their families both lived in Kuwait and when the first war happened they all had to leave. Mel's family went to Dubai and Rich's family went back to the UK, so that would be that you would think. And then Facebook happened. Mel found Rich, and (and this is in her own words) she stalked him and got him. If you had to pay for Skype, it would have cost them an absolute fortune. Rich moved to Dubai, and the rest as they say is history. This was one of the most loved up couples I've had the pleasure of sharing their day with, it was really lovely. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Lindley.
