A Cyprus Wedding at the Coral Beach Hotel and Neo's Sports Bar, Coral Bay
Wayne and Jenny held their wedding ceremony in Paphos at the Coral Beach Hotel, in the amphitheatre. Everything was arranged for them by Jean and Jill of Pole Travel and it was a beautiful day. Jenny was getting ready in her room when I got there and we got lots of lovely photos before I went and met a very nervous Wayne waiting with his guests in the bar. We had a lovely (if just very slightly warm) ceremony in the Amphitheatre and then after some photos went to the tearrace for cocktails and canapes. I took Wayne and Jenny of for some photos before everyone got on the bus that took them to Neo's Sports bar ready for their evening. After dinner we went to the beach for some beautiful sunset photos and then after the longest best man's speech in the world ever, we partied! You can see their slideshow here www.youtube.com
Derek and Anna held their wedding at the Gardens of Pegeia Town Hall. It was a very small intimate wedding with Derek and Anna and Anna's family. I met up with them at their villa beforehand, Anna was ready and as Russian tradition goes Derek had paid a ransom for his bride, so all was good. We got some lovely photos before we made our way to the townhall. After the ceremony and lots of photos at the townhall, Derek and Anna just wanted some photos at the beach, so that is where we went. It was very short but very sweet and the photos are fabulous. You can see their slideshow here www.youtube.com
Marc and Sarah held their wedding in Cyprus at the Vrissiana Beach Hotel. This was such a fabulous day, with a beautiful venue, organised by the amazing Angela, with a couple that loved the whole photography process. We took so many photos throughout the day and we went to some beautiful places around Protaras. It was great, Mark is a photographer himself, so he was up for anything and Sarah as his muse is very used to having her photograph taken. So basically we went and played a bit. Here are some of their photos and you can see their slideshow here www.youtube.com
Lee and Amy held their wedding in Cyprus at Geroskipou Town Hall and then they partied at Doria Restaurant. Sue at the Paphos Wedding Company organsied everything for Lee and Amy. I met Amy in her villa beforehand and we got some gorgeous photos in front of the sea before making our way to the townhall for the ceremony. We got lots of photos at the townhall before going to Doria for some serious partying and some fabulous sunset photos.
Last January, Louise of L'Amour Cyprus Weddings and I had a stand at the UK Wedding show in Newcastle. This was a fantastic weekend (I became an honourary geordie, just for 3 days!). During the show we ran a competition to "Win your Wedding". We had hundreds of entries and after the show when we were back in Cyprus, we asked our first bride of the year to pick a name out of the hat. Aidan and Melanie's names were picked out. They were thrilled! When we met them at the show, they had already decided that they wanted to get married in Cyprus and they had spoken to Sharon of Exclusive Yacht Weddings and decided that they would like their reception on board the Ocean Flyer.
Aidan and Melanie came over to Cyprus later that year to check everything out. Louise and I met up with them, we did a bit of a pre-wedding photo shoot and we took them to meet everyone else that was involved in our competition. We went to Love Island Cakes, to meet the lovely Jackie and Jo (it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it), they were designing and making an amazing bespoke cake to tie in with their theme and colour scheme. Louise took them to meet Paris at Enchanted Cyprus Flower Lounge, she provided the beautiful bridal bouquet and buttonholes. Finally we went to Geroskipou Town Hall, where they were having their ceremony.
So lets show you some photos of their day, which started at the Annabelle Hotel, where everyone met up and where Melanie was getting ready. All of the guests jumped onto the Exclusive Wedding Bus and Melanie and her Dad made their way to Geroskipou in a horse and carriage. We had a lovely ceremony and then lots of photos before going to the yacht. There we had a lovely chilled afternoon and evening, with some fabulous speeches, a wonderful sunset and then fireworks. It was an amazing day, congratulations Mr and Mrs Lish. You can see their slideshow here www.youtube.com
